THE FRANKFORT COMMONWEALTH, Kentucky, July 1, 1845 * Rare antebellum title Page 3 has: "A Proclamation" by the President of Texas, Anson Jones, by which he does: "...proclaim a cessation of hostilities by land and by sea against the Republic of Mexico, or against the citizens & trade thereof..." with much more detail. The bkpg. has a: "$1,000 Reward" by the governor of Kentucky for the capture of a runaway murderer (see). Four pages, bit of foxing, nice condition. Folder size noted is for the issue folded in half.
