Artist Bio:  David Roberts-6th grade Math/Science and Rebekah Reeves-6th grade Language Arts/Social Studies: Nancy Blackburn-Art teacher.  Erin Hardy-8th grade student whose family was displaced by Hurricane Katrina and relocated to Lexington and Xavier Alvarado-8th grade student who is on the LTMS Black Cat basketball team and has family in Trinidad!

Artist’s Interpretation: Our intention was to trace a single drop of water through the water cycle with a visit to the ocean, the desert and the rainforest.  On the lid of the barrel, there is a complete artist rendition of the water cycle.  On the side of the barrel, we have illustrated the flora and fauna of these distinct environments that  a drop of water may visit. Enjoy!
