Artist’s Interpretation:  Painting this rain barrel was great fun, with so many people visiting the Explorium and watching the creative process daily for several months.  I have always enjoyed painting underwater fantasies, and the rain barrel was the perfect canvas.

Bio:  Paula O. Whitaker has been making art and sharing her love of creating with children of all ages for 30 years.  She is a Henna artist and exhibits her paintings and mixed media work throughout Kentucky.  She is currently the Artist-in-Residence at the Explorium, where she co-ordinates the Open Art Studio and teaches art classes.
