Untitled
Adan Ultrera

Barrel Location: Lexington Central Library

Artist’s Interpretation:  One side of the barrel depicts a presentation or baptism of a baby.  The other side has a beautiful scene reminiscent of a small town in Veracruz, Mexico called La Antigua.  On the top of the rain barrel is Medusa with her tantalizing snakes.

Bio: Adan is originally from Veracruz, Mexico, but has lived in the United States for about 10 years.   He uses art as a way to express his dreams.  This painted rain barrel is one of his first exhibited works of art.
