Artist’s Interpretation:  The Barrel A Moonlight Walk came from my love of painting both the Eastern Kentucky landscape, the figure and animals.

The models in the painting are 2 models I work with often while making art, and the landscape is a combination of photographs taken at both the Red River Gorge and the trail at Indian's Fort Theater located at Berea.  The owls represent a seeking of wisdom.

I hope this and the other barrels will encourage the viewers to explore both the world of Art as well as the natural world here in Kentucky.

Bio:  Cliff Sullivan earned a BA in Fine Arts at the University of Kentucky and has exhibited in art shows in Kentucky and Ohio. He sells original paintings and commissioned portraits and murals. Sullivan lives near Versailles, Kentucky.
