Artist’s Interpretation:  As a long time horse lover and owner, I can't recall a time when I didn't have equines on my mind. These are just a few of the ethereal imaginary horses that have galloped through my dreams over the years. The winged horse is a representation of Blaze, the noble black mustang who stole my heart because he could truly "fly without wings."

Bio: Kathleen Reas works in southern Indiana and specializes in a unique combination of woodburning and acrylics. She also does murals, scrimshaw, and works with metal and leather. Her work has been at the UK/LFUCG Arboretum’s "Glories of the Garden" and Louisville’s “Gallopalooza.”  This is Kathleen’s third year being involved with "Roll out the Rain Barrels".
